Title:
  Empathy sends too many notifications

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: empathy

Empathy is sending a new notification for every message. So, for
example if user johnsmith@xxxxxxxxxxx will send 7 messages like
"message1", "message3", etc. Empathy will show 7 notifications. Better
idea would be to add a new message to existing notification, so the
notifications aren't annoying like in pidgin.
