Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test

  [Realtek ALC1200] Playback problem - no audio playing dvr-ms files

  I tried to watch a .cvr-ms file captured from a TV card with Windows Media Center.
  I was trying to watch it in Ubuntu 10.10 using the Totem movie player.
  Sound works elsewhere, but in Totem, there was no sound even though the volume was up.
