[Bug 680563] brightness applet on GNOME Panel have 1 pixel width.

 

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

  Hello all,

  I add a 'brightness applet' to top gnome-panel. After reboot PC I see a icon is like
  missing... I found one black pixel in old palace - it show a hint ~'LCD backlight
  brightness: 100%' and I have be sure it's a my brightness applet.

  This situation I have before on Ubuntu 10.04 and on my current Ubuntu
  10.10.

  I attach a screen to this document.
  This is reproducable, I can do test of these.

  Ubuntu 10.10
  gnome-power-manager: 2.32.0-0ubuntu1
  upower: 0.9.5-4
  dbus: 1.4.0-0ubuntu1
  libnotify1: 0.5.0-2ubuntu1
