Title:
LCD Brightness Resets After Resuming from Idle State

Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I noticed this bug occurs when resuming from idle state, the
brightness is up by at least two levels. It didn't restore the last
saved brightness level. I'm running gnome-power-manager 2.32.0 on an
Ubuntu 10.10 system. My notebook is an HP Pavilion dv3t with

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)

Does anyone have the same problem with their HP machine?
