[Bug 744108] gnome terminal popup menu problem
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about
it at http://www.ubuntu.com/download . Thanks again and we appreciate
your help.

Title:
gnome terminal popup menu problem
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Gnome terminal opens the popup menu on right button pressed, not on
right button-click(right button released). If you move the mouse a bit
between the right button press and release towards the menu (happened
to me lots of times) as the menu items react to mouse button release,
a menu item is activated (most of the times it's Open Terminal for me,
that item being closest to the point I've right-clicked).
This could be fixed by showing the popup only on right button
released.
