Dear Achu,
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Could you please run "apport-collect 875061" from the terminal?
You might also want to take a look at the debugging instructions located
at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingGNOMEPowerManager and submit any
other logs related to your problem.
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Peter Dam (SwitchDK)

Title:
11.10 doesn't remember screen brightness setting after every reboot
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
On the previous versions the default screen brightness was perfect for
me but on 11.10 the default brightness is killing my eye. I have
changed the brightness level like 70% but after restarting and every
login/logout it returns to default 100%.
How do I make remember my brightness setting?
I was asking a question on here:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/174489 and someone
suggested me to report this as a bug.
