  svg thumbnail not updated on desktop

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

  I have a svg on my desktop, and its thumbnail appears the right way.

  I modify it with inkscape, but after closing inkscape the thumbnail
  still shows the svg as it was before being modified.

  In order to get it updated I had to open nautilus and go to the
  desktop: then the thumbnail on the desktop was updated.
