[Bug 868819] Re: lightdm doesn't start automatically

 

I 'm afraid I've done a new installation. 
But I'm almost sure the problem wasn't the script but the NVidia driver. 
At this new installation if I install that driver I got stuck. If I remove then everything goes back to normal.

Bug description:
  I've made a simple script (see below) and put it inside
  /etc/X11/xinit/ and after that lightdm refuses to run automatically at
  boot. I couldn't fix it even after purging it with aptitude, removing
  /etc/lightdm and installing lightdm liblightdm-gobject-1-0 unity-
  greeter lightdm-gtk-greeter
