  selection rectangle not transparent when selecting files

  1) lsb_release -rd

  3) What you expected to happen
  When selecting multiple files or folders to be able to see which files or folders I am selecting.

  4) What happened instead
  The selection rectangle is white, i.e. it is not transparent, see the attached image.
