[Bug 879861] Re: Doesn't automatically connect to the Internet with GSM USB-stick modem

** Description changed:

- After I switched to Ubuntu 11.10 I'm now having problems with network
- manager as the "Automatically connect to the Internet" function doesn't
- seem to be working, although the option is activated. In addition I get
- the "You are now registered on the home network" message every time I
- manually connect to the Internet, which might have something to do with
- the issue. I'm only able to use GSM USB modem and I don't use any
- passwords. Any help would be appreciated as the said function is vital
- to me. Thanks in advance.
