Message #40539
[Bug 879861] [NEW] Doesn't automatically connect to the Internet with GSM USB-stick modem
Public bug reported:
After I have switched to Ubuntu 11.10 I'm now having problems with
network manager as the "Automatically connect to the Internet" function
doesn't seem to be working, although the option is activated. In
addition I get the "You are now registered on the home network" message
every time I manually connect to the Internet, which might have
something to do with the issue. I'm only able to use GSM USB modem and I
don't use any passwords. Any help would be appreciated as the said
function is vital to me. Thanks in advance.
