[Bug 420329] Re: xchat-gnome does not support --geometry option

It seems upstream is not favorable to this idea. I have stopped using
xchat-gnome so have no plans to implement it myself. Feel free to close
this bug report if no one else wants the functionality.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

  X applications should support the --geometry option for controlling
  the placement and size of the application. xchat-gnome does not
  recognize this:

  $ xchat-gnome --geometry 100x100+100+100
  Unknown option --geometry
