[Bug 882651] [NEW] lightdm prevents system shutdown after some user switching

Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 11.10 (amd64)
lightdm 1.0.1-0ubuntu6

After logging in as usual ordinary user, I choose "Switch User" from menu (no logging out);
on the user selection screen, I select the guest user;
after logging out from guest, I return back to my user and choose "Shut Down" from menu;
after logging out, the system doesn't shut down, but shows black screen (vt7) with some startup messages left and lightdm is still running in the neighbour console (vt8).

** Affects: lightdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
