Title:
When opening second picture, window does not get focus
Status in Eye of GNOME:
Unknown
Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
I was really annoyed by eog today because whenever I double-clicked a
picture the opened eog window did not get the focus, even though it
popped up in front. When pressing any key like left arrow or right to
move to next/prev picture, it failed. Nautilus still had keyboard
focus!
I found out that happened because I forgot another eog window
somewhere else, minimized, on different screen, it does not matter.
To reproduce: open one picture with eog, leave that window.
Go back to Nautilus, open a second picture! The unity dock indicates
by shaking the icon, but the new picture appears - just as you want.
But it will not have keyboard focus.
That is really, really annoying.
Maybe it's a Unity bug though, I am not sure...
