Title:
Eye of GNOME does not open multiple files via the Terminal

Status in “eog” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: eog

  1) lsb_release -rd
  Description:	Ubuntu 11.04
  Release:	11.04

  2) apt-cache policy eog
  eog:
    Installed: 2.32.1-0ubuntu2
    Candidate: 2.32.1-0ubuntu2
    Version table:
   *** 2.32.1-0ubuntu2 0
          500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ natty/main i386 Packages
          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

  3) What is expected to happen is when tries to open multiple files
using Eye of GNOME via the Terminal:

  wget
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/603622/+attachment/2093813/+files/captures.zip
  && file-roller -h captures.zip && cd captures && eog Capture-1.png
  Capture-2.png Capture-3.png

all 3 picture files open in Eye of GNOME.

  4) What happens instead is that only the first file is open, with the
  Terminal output:

  (eog:3770): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_object: assertion
  `G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed

  (eog:3770): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_value_get_object: assertion
  `G_VALUE_HOLDS_OBJECT (value)' failed

If one closes the first file, no other files open.

WORKAROUND: Use evince via the Terminal:

  evince Capture-1.png Capture-2.png Capture-3.png

  apt-cache policy evince
  evince:
    Installed: 2.32.0-0ubuntu12.1
