[Bug 234822] Re: Detect and install Brother printers

I'd like to get support for the MFC-7360N added (dowloadable info here:
http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/bsc/public_s/id/linux/en/)

Should I open another bug? Or would solution to this bug take care of
the problem?

Title:
  Detect and install Brother printers

Status in “jockey” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in “system-config-printer” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
brother-cups-wrapper-* and brother-lpr-drivers-* packages are in the
multiverse repositories since Hardy but they still need to be
installed manually and a lot of people does not even know that they
  exist.

I would like to suggest jockey to detect Brother printers and give the
possibility to install these packages like any other restricted
  driver.

This would really make ubuntu easier for owners of Brother printers
which have very ugly drivers from Brother.
