Message #44886
[Bug 885042] [NEW] edit filesystem label appends characters "nA" when underscores are used
Public bug reported:
I edit a filesystem label for a USB disk with the following values:
entered: TEST_TEST
actual: TEST_TESTnA
expected: TEST_TEST or an error saying why it's adding extra characters or what the rules or recommendations are for filesystem labels.
It seems when an underscore is used with more than three characters it
starts to pad it out with some string.
entered, actual and expected: TEST
entered, actual and expected: TEST_1
entered, actual and expected: TEST_A
entered, actual and expected: TEST_AB
entered: TEST_ABC
actual: TEST_ABC nA
entered: TEST_ABCDE
actual: TEST_ABCDEA
This was a W95 FAT32 (LBA) (0x0c) partition type, bootable flags
