[Bug 885365] [NEW] Unable to configure EAP-TLS

Public bug reported:

Description:	Ubuntu 11.10
Release:	11.10

network-manager:
  Installed: 0.9.1.90-0ubuntu3
  Candidate: 0.9.1.90-0ubuntu5
  Version table:
     0.9.1.90-0ubuntu5 0

 *** 0.9.1.90-0ubuntu3 0

Attempting to use nm-applet to configure EAP-TLS results in the error "Connection add failed", "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)".

Running nm-applet on a terminal seems to indicate that the
NetworkManager processing is having some kind of issue processing the
new configuration. nm-applet output is as follows :

** Message: applet now removed from the notification area
** (nm-applet:11075): DEBUG: old state indicates that this was not a disconnect 0
** Message: NM disappeared
** (nm-applet:11075): DEBUG: old state indicates that this was not a disconnect 10
