[Bug 889061] [NEW] gnome-control-center cuts long single-word descriptions

Public bug reported:

the gnome-control-center (system settings) cuts long single-word
descriptions off in its UI, making it harder to figure out what an item
refers to. Its important to realize that English is one of the most
compact languages around, and translating English to another language
almost always results in longer strings. For example in Dutch, the
following entries in system settings are too long to be displayed
properly: Taalondersteuning, Toetsenbordindeling, Extra
stuurprogramma's, Gebruikersaccounts, Softwarebronnen and
Systeeminformatie
