Thunderbird sometimes corrupts email that it downloads from my Google IMAP server. If I delete an email it seems to get
merged into the next. The following is an extract from an example:-

This is a reply to an email I sent to my partner. The first two lines
are from my original outgoing email and below (or above) it I should
have had the reply. Instead, you can see the start of an email from
'Three' (UK mobile service provider). The reply I was expecting is
nowhere to be seen. I was working through my emails, deleting most of
them and had just deleted the 'Three' email.

I checked on my phone and the email was intact, therefore this points to
a Thunderbird issue and not a Google IMAP server issue.

System is Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric) and Thunderbird is 7.0.1+build1
+nobinonly-0ubuntu2

** Affects: thunderbird (Ubuntu)
