Public bug reported:

When the screen turns off after idle period, it never lights up again -
the brightness is set to minimum.

Clicking on screen brightness bar in settings makes screen go to max
brighness every second click. Dragging the handle makes screen backlight
go on and off like crazy.

Changing brightness with Fn keys gets an oposit effect - trying to turn
it up turns it down and vice versa.

All worked fine in previous releases.
