Thank you for your bug report, what Ubuntu version do you use? Could you
add a testcase or example to the bug? That seems similar to bug #772399

  Text in annotations get lost on save

Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Saving a document after adding annotations, causes the text in
  previously saved annotations to be lost. The annotation icon is still
  visible in the document, but the text field is empty.
