  how can i resize the file size of a jpg file in ubuntu

  Invalid

Bug description:
  is there any solutions in ubuntu to resize the file size of a jpg file. in windows wee can use paint to reduce the size of a large jpg file. like that paint application any thing available in ubuntu software center? i tried to download applications from software center but system shows " "Requires installation of untrusted packages
  The action would require the installation of packages from not authenticated sources."" . how can i clear this problem? from where i can download the required applications?
