[Bug 891482] Re: GEdit load CPU huge when scrolling
One clarification: Scrolling in all applications including geany is
jerky at best but it has never been smooth in Ubuntu. However, only in
gedit it is slow enough to cause freezes. Maybe gedit is just a tad
slower in general so the general graphics performance issues becomes
more obvious.

Bug description:
I opened not big HTML file in gedit (18Kb, 242 lines). So, when I
scroll this file gedit loads my CPU too huge and scroll very slow
(with freezes).
