Empathy does not allow to login
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Binary package hint: empathy
When i start empathy (either through Ubuntu's integration applet or as
a standalone app) it does not allow me to login to any communcator
protocol. The status is displayed as offline and place where the icon
for changing status should be is blank.
