[Bug 905485] [NEW] Libreoffice writer does not appear in the unity panel when opening a document

 

Public bug reported:

After a fresh install of 11.10, whenever opening a DOC or ODT document,
the icon for it is missing in the unity panel (see attached screenshot).
Also, libreoffice's window does not show up when hitting ALT+TAB.
