Message #58688
[Bug 819337] Re: Empathy rewriting ~/.mission-control/accounts/accounts.cfg after every restart
I'm not sure this is still somehow relevant, since the mentioned
behavior cannot be reproduced after upgrading to 11.10. I think this bug
report can be simply resolved.

Title:
Empathy rewriting ~/.mission-control/accounts/accounts.cfg after every
restart
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
The subjected behavior causes inability to save any personal
information of accounts (such as Alias)
I checked ~/.mission-control/accounts/accounts.cfg to see if it's getting changed after restart and it was.
Then I renamed the file, and after restarting Empathy has created a new file accounts.cfg with the old (i.e. Nickname=oldvalue) information.
Versions: 11.04/2.34.0
