  empathy is closed whenver I click on a nick of a user to start a talk

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: empathy

  It is unclear to me what has caused this bug, no message error is
  showed. There is no problem to do login and even I see the list of
  users online, but a bug happens when I click on nick to start a chat
  or I try to answer someone. Besides no update for empathy is
  available. My Ubuntu's version is 10.10.
