Title:
gimp crop selection menu item disabled
Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gimp
The "Crop to Selection" menu item in the Image and Layer menus appears
to be forever disabled. I've just tried editing a PNG screenshot and a
JPEG digital photo in GIMP. Selecting the area to crop with the
selection tool, and then going to the Image menu reveals that the
"Crop to Selection" item is disabled.
The other crop options are available. Earlier I noticed the Quit menu
item to be disabled, too, but I can't reproduce this again.
I am using Unity with its default global menus and my system is bang
up-to-date with current Natty. Could this be related to caching of
menu items in the global menus system?
