Message #59578
[Bug 823751] Re: Screen Brightness not saved after rebooting
On my laptop, the screen brightness is set to 100% after each reboot.
Then I have to manually lower the brightness each time. This is tedious
and annoying. I hope this problem gets fixed.

Title:
Screen Brightness not saved after rebooting
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When lightdm starts during boot the screen brightness is dimmed to its
lowest value. Once logging onto the system and going into to the
System Settings->Screen dialog and then setting the correct
brightness, the value is not saved therefore at the next boot you have
to do the whole process again.
