Title:
quota alert messages
Status in “thunderbird” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: thunderbird
Thunderbird reports quota alert messages when a mailbox is nearly
full. And it keeps reporting them, and keeps reporting them. And
every single one of those messages needs to be dismissed by hand.
This is an absolutely unacceptable user interface. It means that I
have to baby-sit Thunderbird for hours just to download my E-mail.
There is no obvious way of turning this behavior off.
Alert messages should always have an option of turning off the alert,
and the same alert just shouldn't keep popping up again and again.
