[Bug 882432] Re: network-manager crashes when trying to configure 802.1x TLS network

 

I have this problem.  How do I apply this patch?  Do I open
'src/settings/plugins/keyfile/writer.c.orig' and paste the patch in.

Bug description:
  When trying to join a wireless network secured with WPA Enterprise
  (802.1x TLS ), the network-manager process crashes.

  Relevant lines from syslog:

  Oct 27 10:30:11 colorado modem-manager[4065]: <info>  Caught signal 15, shutting down...

  The same problem also occurs when trying to create the network in the
  "Edit Connections..." panel.

  1. Ubuntu Release: 11.10
  2. network-manager:

  3. System should join the wireless LAN or add a connection entry.
