Message #64443
[Bug 890284] Re: empathy account dialog problem with gnome-shell
There are "sometimes" errors with gtk3 i.e. with gnome-tweak-tool
windows dialog. The reported observation is not or no more reproducible
by me.
Sometimes i simply miss the scrollbars when using gtk3 overlay
scrollbars and a non standard theme. I uninstalled overlay-scrollbar
and now find gnome-tweak-tool and empathy dialogs more useable.

Title:
empathy account dialog problem with gnome-shell
Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
under gnome-shell empathy account configuration dialog does not work.
The window has scrollbars but contents is not repainted when
scrolling.
It is not possible to get focus for the password text field, but when
clicking in the create button, from the gnome shell notificatin area a
working password dialog arises. This bug is not easyly reproducable
without deleting my empathy accounts.
Use an empty account and try to create empathy accounts when using
