[Bug 915631] [NEW] package libreoffice-common 1:3.5.0~beta2-2ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 134

Public bug reported:

I've just upgraded to Precise and during the process I was presented
with a dialogue warning me that LibreOffice couldn't be upgraded. When I
completed the installation and rebooted, I tried to install libqt4-dev
and got the following response

notgary@notgary-iMac:~$ sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies.

E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Just from reading this it seems to me that two pieces of the apt
dependency chain between the archive and my computer have become de-
synced. I've tried following the advice given in the apt-get output, but
only get this:

notgary@notgary-iMac:~$ sudo apt-get -f install

Correcting dependencies... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:

Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following extra packages will be installed:
  libreoffice-core

1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

Need to get 0 B/37.3 MB of archives.
After this operation, 3,492 kB disk space will be freed.
