I have tested the latest version of LightDM from:

https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-desktop/+archive/ppa

and noticed that the 'Other ...' option is no longer available. This is
necessary to e.g. allow login of LDAP users.

For those, the wallpaper preview also might not work, at least as long
as they do not have local home directories.
