PROBLEM
Firefox crashes and closes when trying to load a page with a java
applet. Then shows a crash report to send to Mozilla.
STEPS

2. Close firefox and open again
3. in URL of Firefox type about:plugins and you 'll see that java plugin is installed
4. go to http://jmol.sourceforge.net/demo/ribbons/ which contains a java applet
RESULT
Firefox immediately crashes and closes.
EXPECTED RESULT
Firefox loads the java applet and remains open
