Thanks, that looks good so I'm sponsoring the update, bonus point next
time if you use the vcs and do a merge proposal for the update ;-)
the vcs way is basically:
bzr branch lp:~ubuntu-desktop/gnome-system-monitor/ubuntu
cd ubuntu
do you update (you can use bzr bd-do to log into an unpacked source, when you exit 0 the edit you did to patches etc will be copied to the debian dir)
bzr commit
bzr push lp:~evfool/gnome-system-monitor/update
then do a merge proposal for the update
