Message #68573
[Bug 920462] [NEW] Thunderbird truncating attachments from imap acct
Public bug reported:
When I attempt to save attachments received through my gmail imap
account, the attachments are truncated. This occurs with many types of
attachments including text files, zip files, pdf files and doc (ms word
document) files.
Saving these same attachments via web mail (Firefox -> gmail.com web
mail) saves the files in their completeness without truncation.
The most recent occurrence was with a text file. The file saved through
thunderbird was 192 bytes shorter than the same attachment saved with
Firefox and gmail web-mail.
This is a reasonably new issue, as I have been using Thunderbird to
manage my gmail account for years without problems. I am running
Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 under Ubuntu Linux 8.04.
