[Bug 921611] Re: 11.10 (oneiric) does not allow to replace wrong WAP password

This is not a bug. NM will ask for the password again if you give it
enough time to timeout and try three times, because we have to assume
the password may be correct if it was entered by the user, something
else could be amiss.

As a workaround, you can always modify the password by clicking the
applet, then "Edit Connections", going to the wireless tab and clicking
the Edit button after selecting the wireless connection you want to
change. Wireless passwords are then under the Wireless Security tab.

Closing as Invalid since there's no bug here.

** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
11.10 (oneiric) does not allow to replace wrong WAP password

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I have tried to connect to a WAP with a wrong password (key). Then I
rebooted to W7, to show the owner of the WAP. It turnmed out that I
had the uppercase/lowercase wrong. I connected successfully with W7.
Then I rebooted to Ubuntu (dual-boot), and there it kept on trying to
connect with the wrong key, but never came back with the key
(password) prompt. I tried some 7 times. Just timing out and
disconnecting. I tried to delete the wrong key (edit connections), but
since it was never connected, it did not show that last connection. So
I could not remove (delete) that connection, and yet it had the wrong
password that it is trying from now on for eternity. So it looks like.
At least, it doesn't ask for the key any longer. Just trying to
connect in circles. Ubuntu bug 1 is there for a reason, alas.
