[Bug 923176] Re: Footnote highlights do not obey formatting
I have attached a screenshot with the bug illustrated.
Unfortunately the command you posted does nothing because there is no active process with that process number. Likewise, "apport-collect" with the number for "soffice.bin" does not work. Likewise, "ubuntu-bug" for "soffice.bin" or "libreoffice" does not work as they are not a "genuine Ubuntu package". Please help.

Title:
Footnote highlights do not obey formatting
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
OS: Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric stable 32-bit
Application: LibreOffice Writer 3.4.5 OOO340m1 (Build:502)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert some text into LibreOffice Writer.
2. Add a footnote.
3. Type some text into the footnote which has italics, underlining, super/subscript or any other kind of formatting.
4. Mouse over footnote number in the main body.
You'll notice that all this formatting is ignored. I do not know
whether this is by design, but it seemed odd to me.
