[Bug 1372596] [NEW] /etc/cups/printers.conf rewritten with wrong information at every reboot

Public bug reported:

When I boot up my system, /etc/cups/printers.conf has the wrong device
URI for my printer. I've tried:

A) correcting it through the cups web GUI at localhost:631

B) substituting a corrected printers.conf by hand by performing:
service cups stop
cp -a /etc/cups/printers.conf.correct /etc/cups/printers.conf
service cups start

Both means correct the problem, and I can print again... UNTIL I reboot.
After the next boot, the incorrect URI is back in printers.conf and I
can't print again.

I can't find where the bad URI is respawning from.
find /etc /var /home -type d -exec grep -H <bad_IP_address_from_URI> '{}' \; -print
comes up with nothing. It's got to be cached somewhere, though it appears not in textual form. Where does this bad URI keep growing back from and how do I stop it?!?!?
