[Bug 1379713] Re: Pidgin crashes when pidgin-skype is installed

 

Simply compiling libskype64.so from source and then placing that in the
local plugins directory worked.

Bug description:
  It seems the pidgin-skype extension causes a

  Attempt to unlock mutex that was not locked
  Aborted

  error and pidgin crashes immediatly. Deinstalling skype-pidgin solves
  the problem but then I can no longer access my skype chats of course.
