Am using ubuntu 14.04, gedit 3.10.4--i just installed gedit-plugins from
synaptic. While enabling the latex plugin in edit->preferences and
trying to disable the zeitgeist plugin, gedit closed unexpectedly. The
problem was repeated  when i again opened gedit and attempted to disable
the zeitgeist plugin

Also gedit file menu does not remember any of the last opened files-- so
the zeitgeist plugin is of no use to me even when it is enabled.
