[Bug 1388348] [NEW] Firefox Nightly 35.0a1 and Firefox 33.0 will not "save page as", in Ubuntu and Xubuntu 14.04

Public bug reported:

Neither Firefox Nightly 35.0a1 or Firefox 33.0 will save a page,
locally.  Clicking File then "Save Page As" does not do anything in
Ubuntu and Xubuntu 14.10.    I have notice this for about the last two
weeks  even before upgrading from Ubuntu and Xubuntu 14.04.
