Status in “system-config-printer” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Modem replaced.

  Modem, router and client PC were all rebooted.  Network
  printer/scanner not found on Ubuntu 14.04 client PC with latest
  patches.

  Ping of IP address of printer is successful.
