Message #82685
[Bug 1394045] [NEW] wrong or no essid shown in nm-connection-editor
Public bug reported:
The nm-connection-editor window is consistently showing the incorrect
network name for my various saved Wi-Fi networks in my fully updated
install of Ubuntu 14.04. Usually, at least one of the networks will
actually have the (slightly bolded) string "Wi-Fi" in place of the
network name. A screenshot showing the error is attached. I normally,
with 10+ networks, they would all (incorrectly) sample from one or two
of the actual network names. I've recently clean installed Ubuntu, so I
don't have a long list of networks to show screenshot, sorry.
I'm not sure how to comment on reproducibility, since the bug is always
present on my system.
