The Document>Scan menu has two radio buttons: "Text" and "Photo".
The toolbar menu (arrow after the "Scan" button) also contains those radio buttons.

If you select one of those buttons in the Document>Scan menu, the selected option in the toolbar menu is also updated.
However, when you select one of the radio buttons in the toolbar menu, the selected option in the Document>Scan menu is NOT updated. The scan quality is successfully changed, though!

Also, it's very difficult to see which option is selected in the toolbar
menu, at least with the default Ubuntu theme. The menu has a dark
background and the "selected" mark is gray.
