Title:
decrease brightness hotkey not working properly

Status in gnome-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
My computer recognises the hotkeys with no problem. I can increase the
brightness all the way but I cannot decrease it more than 1 step. I
can decrease the brightness from the Screen Configuration utility (by
using the brightness slide bar), but the hotkey just works for the
very first step (pressing it repeatedly does not keep lowering it)
