Message #91045
[Bug 1405982] [NEW] User login not always selectable when gecos starts with an upper case letter
Public bug reported:
I have 3 different login listed in lightdm user selection list.
All the user description only contain the first name.
One of the account has it's first name written with a capital letter in the gecos.
* after a fresh boot, when nobody has logged in, any user is selectable with the mouse in lightdm, this is the expected behavior.
* When a user has logged in and then log out, the user with a capital letter in its gecos is not clickable.
The two only ways to select it are :
- with the keyboad's up/down key.
- by first selecting the user just above.
NB 1 : the issue also happen when the "switch user" feature of lightdm is called while somebody is already logged in.
NB 2 : This has been observed after an upgrade from ubuntu 12.04
