Title:
After opening laptop brightness stays in very low level

Status in gnome-power-manager package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

AC power is connected and I just close my laptop lid and after I open
it the brightness is in power saving mode and fn+brightness up doesn't
work too, the only way to turn brightness up is to use brightness
  panel applet.

I noticed this bug only on ubuntu karmic koala.
